Birmingham Wine School Terms & Conditions

Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.

Bookings made using third party voucher(s) may not be changed or cancelled.

Any discounted bookings may not be changed or cancelled.

Full Price bookings. The terms below apply only to customers who have purchased a full price Birmingham WIne School course/tasting:

All bookings are refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the event date. Bookings made 60 days prior to any request for refund, may be subject to a 5% administration fee, as credit card charges occured, are not refunded by the credit card provider post 60 days after the initial transaction.

Up to 1 week prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting.

Within 1 week of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute, or go onto a standby list for another Birmingham Wine School event of the same value. No refunds will be provided.

If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will be given.

On the 8-week Introductory World Tour, and the short 4 or 5 week courses – if you elect to miss an evening (minimum 5 days notice) you may either send a substitute, pick up the missed session on a subsequent Course, or obtain a credit value valid against any of our BWS Courses and Tastings. Within 5 days, should you not be able to attend an evening then you may send a substitute or go onto a standby list for another evening of similiar value.

Standby list. A week before the event, should there still be places available these will be made available to people waiting on the standby list.

We will only cancel or reschedule any course or event in extreme circumstances, and will always refund any payments for courses that have been cancelled or rescheduled, if no alternative event is acceptable..

For Corporate & Private Tastings a deposit of 50% is payable 30 days prior to Tasting date.

We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
