Birmingham Wine School Terms & Conditions

Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.

Bookings made using third party voucher(s) may not be changed or cancelled.

WSET courses - You may cancel up to 4 weeks prior to the course starting. A refund will be provided, less costs, such as course material received. Within 2 weeks, any changes will be subject to administration fees, and no refunds are provided.

All other bookings are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date. If a refund is requested more than 55 days after purchase date, the full amount will be refunded less a 5% Administration Charge.

Up to 2 weeks prior to your event you may request a refund subject to £10 administration fee, and subject to your place(s) being sold to another person. You may swap to another event at no additional cost.

Within 2 weeks of your event you may, should you not be able to attend, swap to another evening at no additional cost. No refunds will be provided.

Within 1 week of the event you may, should you not be able to attend, go onto a standby list for an alternative event. We will confirm your booking (subject to places being available) 3-4 days prior to the event starting. No refunds will be provided.

Within 24 hours of your event, any changes to your booked event are not allowed. No alternatives will be offered or refunds provided.

On the 8-week Introductory World Tour, and the short 4 courses – if you elect to miss an evening (minimum 36 hours notice) you may either send a substitute, pick up the missed session on a subsequent Course, or obtain a credit value valid against any of our BWS Courses and Tastings. If you cancel with 36 hours of the event you may go onto the Standby list. A week before the event, should there still be places available these will be made available to people waiting on the standby list. If you just don't turn up no refund or standby list is available.

We will only cancel or reschedule any course or event in extreme circumstances, and will always refund any payments for courses that have been cancelled or rescheduled, if no alternative event is acceptable..

For  Corporate & Private Tastings a deposit of  50%  is payable 10 days prior to Tasting date.

We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
