World of Wine Spain & Portugal
Spain is an intriguing mixture of old and new - winemakers are combining traditional grape varieties like Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Carinena with ‘international’ grape varieties, to produce stunning new wines. Regions such as Navarra & Ribera del Duero, are leading the charge. You will taste new wines from these and more up and coming regions (such as Rueda & Calatayud), as well as traditional Rioja, served with a selection of complementary foods.
And we should not forget Portugal a truely diverse country with over 200 of it's own grape varieties. Stunning wines, unique and different. The home of Port, but will other wonderful wines from the Douro, and refreshing whites from Vino Verde...
