I have selected another stunning range of wines to be tasted tonight. From my private collection these are wines to be savoured, discussed, debated, but most of all enjoyed. Limited to just 12 people you will have the chance to taste some pretty rare and very interesting wines. Here's what this evening will bring.

• Ch Pontet Canet - Stunning Grand Cru Classe Pauillac from Bordeaux. Brilliant 2005 vintage £130  
• Jean Chauvenet Premier Cru Burgundy. Fantastic Pinot Noir from great vintage 2005 £50
• Brunello Montalcino Caparzo, Italy. Excellent Brunello de Montalcino, from top vintage 2004 £45
• Marcarini – Brunate, Italy. A brilliant Barolo, from equally brilliant vintage, 2004 £40
• Huet Le Haut Lieu, Vouvray. One of the best Chenin Blanc you will taste. Mature, complex and beautiful. 1996 vintage £40
• St Hugo, a top Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. 2007 £27
• Amelia, one of the very best Chardonnays from Chile, Los Petras vineyard, 2011 £24
