World of wine - Rose & Fruity reds
Enjoy a summers evening with some ravishing Rose and fresh fruity reds. Slightly chilled these are ideal wines for a warm (here's hoping) evening...
This tasting would have been unheard of ten years ago, but things are changing rapidly. Rose has thrown off its tardy image, and sales of the pink stuff are soaring (30-35% year on year increase!). Good Rose wine is a class act, with more body, a little tannin, and the refreshing acidity usually associated with white wines - these are wines made for the summer heat and al fresco dining. We will taste a range of Rose and light red wines from around the world (incl France, Spain, Chile, and Australia). If you like Rose then this is the night for you. Don't like Rose, then come and have your mind changed as we taste some truly delicious Rose tonight. Accompanied with a sample of food to enhance the evening that little bit more...
